Subsonic Airfoil Performance

Vector Vantage conducted aeronautical wind tunnel research at the University of Michigan beginning in 2007. Their unique airfoil design1 has been shown to improve the performance of subsonic airfoils.

We have shown that rolling moments can be created without ailerons and without changing the shape of a wing.

We have also shown that the benefits of winglets can be achieved without having to place a physical winglet on the wing

.

Applications to aircraft, wind energy, and the racing industry are possible.
